About the spot

This historical kite section lies north of Vlorë's new port. Sand and pebbles face the bay, with a shallower entry and generally smooth to choppy water. Harbour moles are prominent fixed hazards; shelter does not make every wind direction suitable.

Construction and swimming activity can change this urban shoreline. Check current access and adequate port clearance before rigging. Ride only with a dependable return and keep harbour approaches clear. Hidrovor farther north is a different venue.
