About the spot

Altenteil is a wave venue on northwestern Fehmarn. Stronger west to northwest weather creates rough water; easterlies can also work. Stones and the lack of extensive shallows demand controlled launches and returns.

Campsite accesses and beach space are limited. Use a helper and allow for submerged stones. Protected areas towards Markelsdorfer Huk are outside the riding area. Heavy shorebreak makes this unsuitable for beginners.
