About the spot

Blankenberge's kite sections are around the pier; the marker points to the beach club on the eastern beach at Zeedijk 245. The club is also known by its former O'Neill Beachclub name and offers lessons alongside other watersports.

The pier, separate activity lanes and bathing areas constrain movement. Do not ride through shore sections simply to connect the different zones. North Sea surf, currents and reduced launch space at high tide require control. Ask the club which kite section to use; the harbour and western bathing beaches are not alternative launches.
