About the spot

Twins occupies western Bredene beach near the Oostende boundary. It offers waves and freeriding, with currents, tide and nearby groynes to consider. Summer and winter layouts differ, so a wide stretch of sand is not automatically available for launching.

The public entry zone is generally accessible to non-members too. Club facilities and organised rescue have separate conditions: register with the beachmaster and confirm the area currently covered. The club states that day access does not include watersports insurance. Beginners need suitable supervision even when a green flag is flying.

Skill level: Expert
Extensive experience with difficult launches, surf, currents or obstacles is required. Little room for riding or judgement errors.
Skill level: Pro
An exceptionally demanding specialist spot for pro-level riders. Extreme spot hazards require precise control, local knowledge and agreed safety support.
