About the spot

SYCOD sits at Alfred Devoslaan behind Oostduinkerke beach. It supports freeriding and wave riding, with kite instruction for beginners. The broad sand changes with the tide and leads into open North Sea water rather than a uniformly shallow practice area.

The summer watersports area extends towards Windekind, but the current buoy layout and temporary bathing sections remain decisive. Club facilities include a compressor and showers. SYCOD states that it does not rent kite equipment, so visitors without gear should arrange instruction beforehand. Confirm registration and rescue coverage locally.
