About the spot

The Koksijde Yachting Club launch is at Dumontlaan beside the De Panne municipal boundary. This sandy beach opens onto tidal banks, chop and North Sea surf. Having a club nearby helps with orientation but does not replace reliable upwind riding.

The designated Koksijde section lies between the boundary and the supervised bathing beach. A separate seasonal section adjoins it on the De Panne side, where different local rules apply. Do not assume the boundary can be crossed without checking. Confirm club access, insurance and available support before riding.
