About the spot

Surfing Elephant is on Wenduine's eastern beach at Zeedijk 81. The club offers kite instruction for different learning stages, scheduled around the wind. Riding takes place on the open North Sea with surf and currents, not in a permanently calm, standing-depth lagoon.

The official kite section is separated from supervised bathing areas. Before rigging, establish which parts serve kites, lessons and other watersports. High water reduces beach space and can complicate entry. Published lesson dates should not be interpreted as a promise of year-round clubhouse opening or rescue cover.
