About the spot

Burgas North Beach has an organised kite venue on sand. Easterly to northeasterly winds meet the bay, producing chop and waves when stronger. Local clubs offer instruction, provided conditions and a clear teaching zone are suitable.

The long urban beach is also used for swimming. Keep lesson areas, launch corridors and independent riding separated. The pier farther south and port structures are not riding targets. Check the day’s zone and available support with the club before launching; thermal wind is not a daily guarantee.
