About the spot

Sahlenburg offers extensive tidal shallows off its sandy beach. With enough water, designated sections support supervised learning and freeriding; low tide exposes much of the flats. Schools provide local tide briefings.

Riding is permitted from four hours before to four hours after high tide, but that does not guarantee sufficient depth. Respect channels, swimming areas and zone boundaries and return before the route dries out.
