Wittdün lies at Amrum’s southern end with a designated kite area. The nearby island tip and harbour make current and boats especially relevant. Broad Kniepsand does not remove the need to inspect the actual entry.

Confirm the current corridor with the centre before rigging. Avoid swimming areas, dunes and protected flats. Depth and return route must suit the tide; lessons and independent riders share the permitted launch area.
