About the spot

Hagnau accesses a permitted area west of the restored bathing beach towards the eastern side of the Westhafen approach. Open water and nearby harbour structures require upwind control and careful launches. The bathing beach is not additional kite space.

Kiting requires a valid individual exemption permit and staying within its designated zone. Give way to all shipping, remain at least 50 metres from swimmers and never ride at night or in poor visibility.
