About the spot

The venue lies between Staad sailing harbour and Hörnle’s bathing boundary. The entry is at Camping Bruderhofer in the sailing and surfing section. Nearby harbour and swimming activity demand clear orientation and upwind ability.

Kiting requires a valid individual exemption permit and staying within its designated zone. Give way to all shipping, remain at least 50 metres from swimmers and never ride at night or in poor visibility. Access period: 1 March–30 November.
