About the spot

Ludwigshafen’s entry is at the eastern end of the bathing beach. The kite area is a defined shore strip on Überlinger See. Land shelter can alter launch wind; dependable upwind skills are needed outside the entry.

Kiting requires a valid individual exemption permit and staying within its designated zone. Give way to all shipping, remain at least 50 metres from swimmers and never ride at night or in poor visibility. Access period: 1 April–31 August.
