About the spot

Borkum’s north beach is a sandy North Sea venue with watersports and shifting banks. Wind and tide create anything from chop to stronger waves. Swimmers, current and the specific sports corridor limit the usable area.

The legal north-beach kite area opens three hours after sunrise. Use only designated sports sections and avoid bathing and protected areas. Confirm current beach rules with the local centre; island tips and shipping channels are not alternative riding areas.
