Dornumersiel accesses shallow flats on the East Frisian mainland. Higher water permits mostly flat or choppy freeriding. A hardened shore and bathing activity require careful entry selection.

Kite permission applies within the legal zone from three hours before to three hours after high tide. Low tide exposes much of the venue. Account for channels and soft mud and confirm the launch locally.
