Wyk’s south beach combines visitor facilities with tidal water. Shallow sections suit freeriding in appropriate conditions. A busy beach and nearby shipping make clear sports zoning essential.

Confirm the current corridor with the centre before rigging. Avoid swimming areas, dunes and protected flats. Depth and return route must suit the tide; lessons and independent riders share the permitted launch area.
