About the spot

Gahlkow lies east of Loissin beside a bungalow settlement on Greifswalder Bodden. A natural beach leads into extensive shallows. Winds from west through north to east suit the shoreline, with short chop in stronger conditions.

Local riders and windsurfers share the access, and small parking areas fill quickly. Give others plenty of room, inspect the bottom before launching and do not confuse extensive shallows with sufficient foil depth.
