About the spot

The authorised Geierswalder See access is at Koschendamm. Largely treeless rigging space and westerly wind suit the venue. The standing strip is narrow with locally abrupt drop-offs and larger stones in shallow water.

Use only the approved buoy-marked area. The published permission specifies daylight and 1 April–30 September. The club lists Kleinkoschen as unapproved, so it is not an easterly-wind alternative. Check current club rules before riding.
