Graal-Müritz is an exposed Baltic spot that becomes demanding in strong wind. West and northeast can provide sideshore conditions. The beach drops away relatively quickly, without a broad calm standing area.

Closely spaced groynes complicate launching and failed returns. Storm conditions are for experienced wave riders. Consult the local school about access and conditions, and respect swimmers, the pier and the sections currently open to watersports.
