About the spot

Vitte’s west beach faces the open Baltic. Sand and offshore banks offer waves in suitable wind; stronger surf requires controlled launches and upwind skills. Equipment transport needs planning on this car-free island.

This does not authorise riding in the eastern lagoon. Confirm the current west-beach sports section and avoid swimmers and sensitive dunes. Unfavourable wind or insufficient landing room does not justify using protected neighbouring shores.
