About the spot

Prerow’s sandy north beach offers wave riding in northwest through east winds. Conditions can be gentler near shore, with more swell outside. Easterlies are especially useful for experienced freeriders seeking waves.

The beach is busy in summer despite its length. Kite and windsurf schools use different access points: confirm the current kite section locally. Nearby national-park shores are not unrestricted alternatives. Assess surf and the ability to return before launching.
