About the spot

Baabe is a wave venue on Rügen’s east coast. Easterlies build waves over offshore sandbanks, while the gently sloping beach can moderate shorebreak. Riders need reliable upwind skills and experience beyond sheltered lagoons.

Summer swimming occupies much of the sand. Buoy-marked bathing areas are off limits to kites, including evenings unless rules explicitly change. Ride only in a confirmed available section with enough launch and landing space.
