About the spot

Dranske lies on the western shore of Wieker Bodden, with broad shallows and relatively sheltered flat or choppy water. Grass provides rigging space, and local schools support learners.

The entry is narrower than the open water suggests. Do not obstruct it with parked kites or lines. Read the posted area plan before launching and avoid teaching, harbour and conservation sections. Wind and depth can vary considerably within the Bodden.
