About the spot

Groß Banzelvitz provides sheltered shallows on Großer Jasmunder Bodden. Northeast through south winds suit the site; the Banzelvitz hills shelter other directions. Water generally remains flat or mildly choppy.

Shore space is limited. One of the two local accesses is reserved exclusively for the kite school. Ask the centre about access and capacity before travelling. A full teaching area is not a reason to launch elsewhere through the reeds.
