About the spot

Schladitzer See has an officially authorised kite zone accessed through the sports resort. It suits independent riders with reliable upwind skills; inland wind can be gusty. An organised launch area is central to operation.

Daily or seasonal registration and VDWS Level 4 or equivalent evidence are required. Minimum age is 16, with daylight riding only. Peer instruction is prohibited; avoid white exclusion buoys, bathing zones and protected sections.
