About the spot

Sehlendorf fronts a sandy, wind-exposed stretch of Hohwacht Bay. It supports freeriding and wave riding when adequate launch space is available; it is not a sheltered flat-water lake.

Sehlendorfer Binnensee and its shores are protected and are not an alternative kite venue. On the Baltic beach, follow bathing zones and the current sports corridor. Stronger surf requires controlled launches, upwind skills and a reliable return.
