About the spot

The eastern Breitling shore provides a relatively sheltered venue with a small standing-depth area. Southwest through northwest winds reach the bay. The neighbouring centre mainly teaches sailing, windsurfing and SUP.

Kiters must give lessons plenty of space. Proximity to the Warnow estuary also means boat and passenger-vessel traffic. The limited entrance requires an agreed launch and is unsuitable for unsupervised first attempts. Inspect shore obstacles and the current riding corridor.
