About the spot

The List-side flats at Ellenbogen offer shallower and more sheltered water than Sylt’s west coast at suitable tides. Access lies within sensitive dune and tidal habitats. Schools organise use of the permitted area.

The legal Sylt-List zone allows riding only from three hours before to three hours after high tide. Confirm teaching and launch sections and respect conservation boundaries. The island tip, channels and surrounding flats are not unrestricted alternatives.
