About the spot

The beach between Peenemünde and Karlshagen offers wave riding outside the village centre. Offshore sandbanks can shelter the inside while northeast and east winds build stronger waves farther out.

A relatively broad shallow area helps controlled entries but does not make all surf beginner-friendly. This marker is on the Baltic side, not Peenestrom or the harbour. Check current beach permission and conservation boundaries, and leave sufficient return margin in strong wind.
