Vollerwiek on southern Eiderstedt has a designated tidal kite zone. Higher tide provides shallow or choppy water, while ebb lengthens the carry or removes riding depth. The dyke access is not a broad sandy beach.

Keep launching separate from swimmers and shore structures. Check the current entry and boundaries locally. Return within the zone in time rather than seeking deeper channels on the ebb.
