Wangerooge’s north beach is an exposed North Sea venue with sand, banks and waves. Wind and tide change shorebreak and current; riders need reliable upwind skills in surf.

The legal north-beach kite area opens three hours after sunrise. Use only designated sports sections and avoid bathing and protected areas. Confirm current beach rules with the local centre; island tips and shipping channels are not alternative riding areas.
