About the spot

Xantener Südsee is an inland venue with controlled watersports access. Suitable wind permits freeriding, but trees and shore development create gusts and boats share the lake. Launching requires clear line space and a helper.

A valid FZX authorisation is required before riding, and lake rules also require a recognised surfing certificate. Use approved entries and observe closure signals. Off-season access has specific authorisation conditions rather than automatic unrestricted use.
