Almerimar's documented kite area is at Playa de Poniente. The exposed coast offers freeriding or waves depending on the wind; the local watersports guide illustrates how much conditions vary between nearby sections.

The familiar windsurfing name Culoperro does not automatically establish kite access at every neighbouring beach. A session needs a clear launch, manageable shorebreak and current separation from swimmers. Beginners should use local supervision. Wind directions remain unverified until they can be tied reliably to the kite launch.
