Ses Illetes hosts an authorised kitesurf operator in northern Formentera. Different sides of the narrow peninsula have different exposures, so the wind angle must suit the actual launch. Clear water does not guarantee sufficient depth or an obstacle-free bottom.

The operator offers lessons and boat launches. Its information prohibits beach launching from 1 May to 31 October, so summer sessions need an arranged on-water start. No general wind recommendation is given for independent riding around the entire peninsula.
