About the spot

Flag Beach near Corralejo is Fuerteventura's established freeride spot beside the dunes. Northerly trade-wind conditions can work well, but wind angle and waves vary. Pale sand conceals rocky sections, particularly when water is shallow.

Independent progressing riders need reliable upwind ability and the correct entry and exit. Beginners should use organised lessons; the school also teaches from boats. This does not establish automatic rescue coverage for every rider. Reassess reefs and stones at low tide rather than repeating a high-water route.

Access & local notes

Confirm the kite zone, tidal access and any rescue service with the centre beforehand. Keep dunes and swimming areas clear.
