About the spot

Risco del Paso lies south of Playa Barca within the Sotavento area. Suitable tides create shallow lagoon sections beside the broad sandy beach. Open sea lies outside, and these different water areas must not be treated as equivalent beginner locations.

Frequently offshore or cross-offshore wind requires organised support. The local centre offers lessons and safety services, with coverage to be confirmed for your session. Insufficient lagoon depth can rule out riding. Wind strength, gusts and tide must align, so no general direction approval is assigned.
