About the spot

Los Narejos on the northwestern Mar Menor is an active teaching location with several watersports centres. The saltwater lagoon is separated from the open Mediterranean; suitable shallow sections and the absence of ocean surf can ease learning.

Stronger wind still produces chop. Shallow areas may lack foil clearance, and kite access does not extend to every beach section. Independent riders need a suitable wind angle at their actual launch. Check current water-quality notices, local closures and conservation boundaries before riding.

Access & local notes

Confirm the specific kite area with Spinosa or Aloha. Do not launch among swimmers; no wind direction is approved for the whole shoreline.
