About the spot

Lo Pollo is the school-used shoreline near Los Nietos on the southern Mar Menor. Local operators identify easterly and northeasterly Levante as suitable. The less developed section provides separation from the town beach when the currently permitted area is used.

Lagoon conditions can be more manageable than ocean surf, but strong wind still creates chop. Water depth and soft shoreline areas alter usable space. Beginners should arrange lessons; independent riders need to account for swimmers, vegetation and possible temporary closures.

Access & local notes

Locate Lo Pollo with the local school; the Los Nietos town beach is not an unrestricted kite zone. Follow current water and access notices.
