About the spot

Fornells' kite launch is around Ses Salines inside the bay. Sheltered water differs from Menorca's exposed wave beaches, but launching space is limited and many other activities share the bay.

A safe session needs a clear drift area and return route. Gusts, anchored boats or an unfavourable wind angle can make the spot unsuitable despite a smooth surface. It is therefore not rated as an unrestricted beginner area. First-time visitors should establish the permitted space and available local support beforehand.
