About the spot

Son Bou is an exposed wave beach on Menorca's south coast. Westerly wind is the usual kite option, while southerly wind arrives more directly onshore. Riders need to launch through surf under control and return reliably to the beach.

A long sandy shoreline does not remove currents or shorebreak. Wind, swell and available space must all suit the session. Space is generally easier outside the bathing season. Summer use remains limited to the currently permitted launch and landing area.
