About the spot

Balneario sits beside Tarifa's old town and the road to Isla de las Palomas. It is known for spectacular expert sessions, particularly in Levante, but that wind can be fully offshore here.

Rocks, currents, buildings and a small launch combine to make this an expert location. Smooth water is not an indication of easy conditions. Independent offshore riding without an agreed recovery arrangement is unsuitable. Because of this risk profile, no broadly suitable wind direction is included in the filter.
