About the spot

Los Lances Sur is the town beach between Tarifa and the northern kite area. Outside the bathing season, Poniente can provide freeriding and wave sessions when swell arrives. The beach remains a shared public space.

Buildings, walkers and other water users constrain safe launches. Levante can create poor wind coverage; offshore conditions are excluded from the general recommendation. Beginners are better served by an organised teaching zone in the north. This is a seasonal entry, not a year-round clearance for the town beach.

An exceptionally demanding specialist spot for pro-level riders. Extreme spot hazards require precise control, local knowledge and agreed safety support.
