About the spot

Valdevaqueros is the bay below the Punta Paloma dunes. Poniente and local thermal enhancement can provide good freeriding, with chop building in stronger wind. The curve of the bay changes the wind angle between launches.

Levante is often powerful and can become cross-offshore depending on position. A local briefing and, where needed, confirmed rescue coverage are essential. Despite the broad beach, active launching areas are often cramped and busy. Keep room for schools, windsurfers and independent kiters, and watch for rocks at the bay's edges.

Use the current kite and teaching zones; do not walk or drive on protected dunes. Punta Paloma is covered by this bay entry.
