About the spot

Balistra is on the eastern coast north of Bonifacio. Easterly wind reaches the sea beach onshore and is the more clearly documented direction. The open bay can develop waves; the neighbouring lagoon is not automatically authorised kite water.

Westerly wind blows offshore and can be strongly disturbed by the terrain. Those sessions need professional supervision and recovery. Check the unpaved approach and current beach layout beforehand. Parking availability implies neither camping permission nor a free launch among swimmers.
