About the spot

Les Dosses is a well-known freestyle and big-air area around Étang de Salses-Leucate. Tramontane can create very flat water behind the land strip. The combination of smooth water with strong, gusty wind attracts experienced riders.

Offshore components, limited launching space and nearby water-sport installations require detailed local knowledge. This is not a general beginner lagoon. Use the currently designated kite area, respect protected sections and arrange recovery. Competitions or teaching activity can impose additional restrictions.
