WIND FORECAST
Lac du Bourget · Cap des Séselets
About the spot
Cap des Séselets at the southern end of Lake Bourget provides regulated access for north to northwest winds. Rigging uses the lawn, with water access over a pebble shore. Wind close to shore can be considerably less clean than farther out.
A cycle path and road lie directly behind the launch. Never cross them with a flying kite. Riders must be able to self-rescue in the water if unable to return; nearby Mottets is not an unrestricted beach landing. Easterly and southerly directions are technical or disturbed and are not listed as preferred.
Access & local notes
Never cross the cycle path or road with a flying kite; follow local launch and self-rescue procedures.
