About the spot

Cabourg has an established teaching base at Le Menhir Normandie Kite on the Côte Fleurie. In suitable conditions, the sandy beach supports initial waterstarts and freeriding. Tide, surf and clear beach width determine the usable area.

The school describes boat-supported deep-water lessons when the wind is offshore. This does not make an independent beach launch in land wind appropriate. Visitors should confirm the launch and summer zones. Unsupervised riding requires reliable return skills and relaunching.
