About the spot

Saint-Colomban offers a shallow beach in Quiberon Bay, used by the local kite school particularly in westerly wind. Lower to middle tides can provide calmer freeriding and learning conditions. It is more sheltered than Erdeven's open Atlantic beaches.

Kitesurfing is prohibited during Carnac's summer closure, when the school moves to other municipalities. Verify the current dates before travelling. Higher water reduces launch space and clearance from obstacles. Off-season teaching does not imply year-round permission.
