About the spot

Le Dossen near Santec is especially known for wave riding. Southwest to west are favourable sectors; northwest wind is affected by Île de Sieck. Moderate conditions allow freeriding, while stronger swell demands reliable surf and return skills.

Low tide exposes extensive sand and reefs. The summer swimming area reduces available kite space, and land sailors also need room. Washed-up algae can catch lines. Organise launching outside swimming and traffic areas; the size of the beach alone does not make it beginner friendly.
