About the spot

Excenevex provides a sandy access on Lake Geneva's French southern shore. Northerly Bise reaches the beach onshore and can build substantial waves despite the inland setting. The shallow margins should not distract from gusts, waves and heavy swimming use.

The published order prohibits kiting and beach equipment storage from 10 am to 6 pm between 20 June and 31 August. Outside those hours use the established kite area and channel to ride beyond 300 metres; keep clear of the swimming zone. Lessons and introductory sessions require a specific municipal exemption. Confirm current opening with Au Gré Du Vent. Wind lines after landing and allow clearance from the rock in the northern water area.
